Sarah, please tell us a bit about yourself.
I grew up in California, born in San Diego and raised in Los Angeles. As the oldest of three girls, I naturally took on responsibility early, helping my mom and caring for my younger sisters. From a very young age, I loved hosting and creating order, always drawn to making things beautiful. Even when I played with Barbies, I wasn’t interested in the dolls themselves, I spent all my time setting up their homes, closets, and furniture.
In college, I initially studied medicine, drawn to math and science, but I quickly realized that while I excelled, my true passion was design. Every apartment I lived in became my canvas, always on a budget, but layered with creativity and warmth. Friends constantly asked me for advice, and I began to recognize design could be more than a hobby.
