This project involved transforming an office space on the sixth floor of the historic building at 537 S. Broadway in downtown Los Angeles. Originally constructed in the Art Deco style, this building is part of a vibrant area known for its architectural heritage and iconic facades. The space redesign embraces the building’s industrial character while reimagining it as an open-concept workspace that suits modern professional needs.
The newly designed office features a welcoming, spacious layout with dedicated zones for productivity and collaboration. A beautiful, well-appointed conference room now anchors the space, offering a sophisticated setting for team meetings. The addition of stylish seating areas and a kitchenette creates an inviting spot for social gatherings, allowing employees to unwind during breaks or host after-hours events. Other updates include a carefully curated lighting concept and modern furnishings that harmonize with the historical details of the building. Telephone rooms and flexible workspaces have also been integrated, providing functional spaces to support focused work and privacy.
This redesign preserves the building’s historical charm while introducing a contemporary, adaptable office environment well-suited to the dynamic downtown area.
